Kathmandu. Bollywood actor Salman Khan has announced a new film 'Sikandar' on the occasion of Eid. This film will be directed by famous South Indian director AR Murugadoss.
Director Murugadoss has previously directed Hindi films like 'Ghajani', 'Holiday' and 'Akira'. Sajid Nadiadwala will be its producer. On the occasion of Eid on Thursday, Salman announced this film through social media. Sharing the post, he wrote, "This Eid, see Bade Mian Chote Mian and Maidan." See Sikandar next Eid. Along with producer Nadiadwala, Salman has given many hit films like 'Judwaa', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' and 'Kick'. Before 'Sikander', Murugadoss and Salman also worked together in the film 'Jai Ho' which was released in 2014. The writer of that film was Murugadoss. If we talk about Salman's Eid connection, in the last 10 years, none of Salman's films have been released on Eid 2020 and 2022. From 2015 to 2024, 7 films of Salman Khan were released on the occasion of Eid.
Out of which only 'Radhe' which was released in 2021 was a flop. The remaining two films became hits while the other two films earned average. Apart from this, Salman's 'Sultan' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' created history at the box office. The film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', made at a cost of 90 crores, collected 922.17 crores worldwide.
